Community Manager

Friz (www.usefriz.com) is an exciting early-stage startup dedicated to providing financial freedom to independent creators across South East Asia. We are backed by Y Combinator, 500 Southeast Asia, Iterative VC, and 500 TukTuks, prominent angel investors and is part of the Y Combinator Winter 2021 Batch.

We are looking for a passionate self-starter interested in being a part of an exciting, fast growing startup in the finance industry. You will be tasked with growing our community and social channels while leading ​​content creation on all fronts. Some of the key areas of focus for this role will include: content creation ( blogs, webinars, social posts and more), copywriting, community building ( social groups & ambassador program) and Influencer marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating shareable content.

Role: 1. Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for landing pages, blogs, marketing material, and other platforms. 2. Managing the day-to-day handling of all email newsletters & social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok, adapting content to suit different channels 3. Developing creative and engaging social media & community building strategies 4. Implementing SEO best practices. 5. Help creating content that could target potential customers using paid display campaigns 6. Outreach for Link-building & community building

Who you are: 1. 2+ years of experience writing content and/or managing social media and communities 2. Interested in Content Marketing and Community building 3. Self-driven and have a track record of taking initiative 4. Familiar with south-east Asia 5. Fluent in English with a flair for writing engaging & shareable content 6. Nice to have - Knowledge of Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Wordpress, Webflow & Canva 7. An understanding of SEO best practices.
